The Science and Biological Responses to Low Doses of Radiation
Dr. Antone L. Brooks
Dr. Brooks earned a PhD in Physical Biology from Cornell University, focusing on radiation-induced chromosome damage. He directed Cell & Molecular Biology programs at Lovelace Research Institution and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and served as Chief Scientist for the DOE Low Dose Radiation Research Program.
A retired Washington State University professor, Dr. Brooks published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, contributed to the BEIR VI report on radon health effects, and consulted with organizations like NASA. He delivered prestigious lectures and received honors including induction into the Dixie State University Hall of Fame and a Silver Telly Award for his video Fallout Man.
