DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join the Richland Section for our hybrid Science Cafe featuring Dr. Frankie Wood-Black from Northern Oklahoma College.\nIn the chemical enterprise, our perception of risk is a fundamental consideration when optimizing processes, research and applications. How we perceive risk also impacts our safety behaviors and how we present material. This talk explores how we look at risk, and how that impacts our decision making, comparisons, and explorations.\nDr. Wood-Black has been in the petroleum and chemical industry for over 25 years with work experience in technical management; laboratory operations; environmental science and compliance; finance; and professional development. Dr. Wood-Black’s work experience has primarily has focused on refining and downstream operations.
