SUMMARY:Saturday Science at Columbia Basin College
DESCRIPTION:The Saturday Science outreach event will take place at Columbia Basin College on Saturday October 14th.  Entitled “Eclipse Explorers” the event will provide hands-on activities for 5-8th grade students in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.  Participants will be able to observe the solar eclipse, watch a planetarium show and delve in the science activities.  The day will conclude with a magic show performed by the Eastern Oregon University Chemistry Club and CBC faculty.\nThis is a joint event between the EOU and CBC Chemistry Clubs and is being supported by an ACS grant and the Richland Local Section.\nFor more information, please contact Dr. Padmaja  Gunda (pgunda@columbiabasin.edu)\n
